Norfolk 2022

We are pleased to say our Norfolk holiday, at Hall Farm, is going ahead in August 2022, from the 20th to 27th. Details will go out with the next newsletter or feel free to get in touch if you are interested by emailing info@dfsg.co.uk.

2022 DAYS OUT

The DFSG is organising a host of Days Out across the country during 2022. As always, the admission cost to all the venues will be subsidised by the DFSG. Please do get in touch if you would like to become a member of the DFSG, in order to join us at these Days Out. Membership of the DFSG is free and without obligation.

BOVINGTON TANK MUSEUM, DORSET—Tuesday 12th April

With almost 300 vehicles on exhibition from 26 countries The Tank Museum is the largest collection of tanks, and the third largest collection of armoured vehicles, in the world.

TWICKENHAM RUGBY GROUND, LONDON—Saturday 11th June

Twickenham Stadium is quite possibly the world’s most famous Rugby stadium and is home to the England Rugby Union Team. It’s also the headquarters of the Rugby Football Union themselves. It’s the largest Rugby Union specific stadium in the world.

BEWL WATER FAMILY FUN DAY, KENT—Saturday 2nd July

Our traditional Family Fun Day out will take place again this year by the beautiful Bewl Water, in Kent. There will be children’s activities, sailing, a BBQ and a chance to get out on the water in the Wheelyboat Trust’s wheelchair accessible boat.

BEAMISH MUSEUM, DURHAM—Saturday 30th July

Beamish, with its large collection of working vehicles and equipment, is a world famous open air museum telling the story of life in North East England during the 1820s, 1900s, 1940s and 1950s.

COLCHESTER ZOO, ESSEX— Saturday 17th September

Colchester Zoo is home to 180 beautiful, unusual, rare and endangered species of the animal kingdom. The zoo is set in 60 acres of parkland and lakes.
