DMD Hub logo

The DMD Hub, launched in 2016 as a collaboration between Duchenne UK and the two neuromuscular centres of excellence – the John Walton Muscular Dystrophy Research Centre in Newcastle and Great Ormond Street Hospital in London – is an established network of sites with skilled staff funded and trained to carry out clinical trials for DMD. Its mission is to ensure all patients with DMD have access to clinical research opportunities.

Their Clinical Trial Finder displays information on every existing and pending clinical trial for DMD in the UK, and presents detailed summaries of each trial with up-to-date information so you can make an informed choice. The DMD Hub also has information on clinical trials and what you should consider before joining one. Visit the Clinical Trial Finder.

For news and updates on the latest clinical trials, medical research, and interesting developments within the DMD community, visit the DMD Hub’s news section, or sign up to the DMD Hub newsletter.

Our Development Officer regularly attends research conferences to find out information to pass to the families, as well as collaborating with scientists, clinicians and others as a patient expert for trials and new developments .
